PROUDLY SUPPORTING AND FUNDRAISING FOR MENTAL HEALTHCARE
Mental Healthcare is a cause I am deeply passionate about. I credit quality mental healthcare for saving my life, and giving me a second chance after I spent 5 years of my early twenties in the grips of undiagnosed Bipolar Disorder. I am always open to talk about my story, but more importantly…we need to talk about the greater story; Mental Healthcare is a conversation so often stigmatized and discouraged. So many individuals live with mental health challenges, and unfortunately resources and information are seldom talked about openly and finding quality care is often prohibitively difficult and expensive. Quality Mental Healthcare is a human right; there should be no stigma or prohibitive costs in finding quality care, open discussions, accessing information, or speaking up for help.
